Your Gifts Bring Hope!
By Naomi Corera, February 8, 2018
Dear Friends, Greetings to All!
HAPPY FEAST DAY OF JOSEPHINE BAKHITA, a Saint from Sudan. Here I am in hot and dusty Adjumani with 105 degree weather, while you are freezing in cold Michigan and USA winter!
First, let me THANK YOU ALL for your generous Christmas Gifts to our children. This was the biggest ever received! All around me is a hive of activity with building, renovation of thatched grass roofs, painting while at the same time istributing your rosaries, caps and sunglasses, and the Boda Boda motorcyclists are ever so grateful as these shield their eyes from the hot dusty sand.
Once all the activities are completed I will send you the colorful photos. A new dormitory took first place so the Friendship Dinning Hall got a slow start. The Library too is beginning to take shape in a classroom for now as the library room was taken for a dormitory. Lots of new students! All eager to learn and grow!
Till we meet again…
God Bless you all.
