What gifts might you share?
Our supporters lovingly act with the zeal and cheerfulness that St. Paul describes in his letter to the Romans:
For as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; he who teaches, in his teaching; he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who contributes, in liberality; he who gives aid, with zeal; he who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.
Romans 12:4-9
What gifts do you have as a member of the body of Christ? We know that all of us are blessed abundantly by grace in different ways. We ask that you would give from your heart with genuine love. We as one body in Christ do not put a box around the capacity of love for which we are capable, but eagerly measure out our hearts by extending our gifts of serving and sharing. How might you measure out an immense love through the incredible gifts that you have been given? In what ways can you serve our brothers and sisters in need?
Most often, we are blessed to be able to share prayers and financial gifts for families and schools. Frequently we are also fortunate to receive volunteer work from business, medical, or communications professionals. Occasionally our supporters will travel alongside Naomi to visit with our friends and the children who are waiting. How might Jesus be wanting to work through your hands and feet?
